Young, Single and a Lottery Winner

COLUMBIA, SC (December 19, 2013) – Ladies, an eligible bachelor in Starr has won an attractive $100,000 prize from the South Carolina Education Lottery.

The winning scratch-off was purchased from the Sav A Stop on Flat Rock Rd. in Starr.

With no wife and kids to buy presents for, the young,
single winner says he’ll just have to find a way to spend the cash himself.

Odds of winning one of the four top prizes that remain in the $5 Extreme 8s game are 1 in 480,000.

For selling the claimed winning ticket, Sav A Stop in Starr received a commission of $1,000.

Since the start of the Lottery in 2002, more than one million college scholarships and grants have been awarded to South Carolina’s students. In all, more than $3.2 BILLION has been transferred to support educational programs in the Palmetto State.
