COLUMBIA, SC (November 30, 2016) – A St. Matthews woman’s Christmas list grew after she won $250,000 on a South Carolina Education Lottery ticket.

“I’m going to go crazy shopping,” she said, starting with a new car.

She won on a Cash Bonanza scratch-off at Sam’s Food Mart on St. Andrews Rd. in Columbia. She left the store and drove straight to the Lottery’s claims center to cash in.

“I’ll remember this moment for the rest of my life,” she told lottery officials.

Four top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $10 Cash Bonanza game. The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 660,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Sam’s Food Mart in Columbia received a commission of $2,500.
