Aiken Lottery Winner Makes His Last House Payment
12/19/2016 10:14:14 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (December 19, 2016) – With some extra cash, an Aiken man bought three lottery tickets. He won $15 on the first ticket, nothing on the second and the last one paid off his house.

“I scraped off a $250,000 win,” he said. “And I couldn’t believe it.”

He called his wife over to show her the Cash Bonanza ticket. They called their neighbor over for a second opinion. Then they called their accountant to let him know they won a quarter-of-a-million dollars.

“We’ve had nothing but bad luck lately,” the winner said. “Our luck has changed.”

As of this release, three top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $10 Cash Bonanza game. The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 660,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Gas Plus #3 in Aiken received a commission of $2,500.
