COLUMBIA, SC (June 26, 2017) – It was a winning end to the weekend for thousands of South Carolina Education Lottery Pick 3 players.

More than 11,000 players won with 2 – 2 – 2 in Sunday’s evening drawing.

Depending on the price paid for the ticket, winners took home either $250 or $500 per play at odds of 1 in 1,000.

Triple number combinations are by far the Lottery’s most popular played sequences, this time resulting in a $2.9 million prize payout.

This marks the twelfth time 2 – 2 – 2 has been drawn by the Lottery. The last time 2 – 2 – 2 was seen was back in April of 2016.

Winning Pick 3 tickets worth up to $500 can be cashed at lottery retailers statewide.

Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing in which to claim their prizes.

Winners should always sign the back of their ticket first to safeguard their prize.
