Back-to-Back Jackpot Drawings at Over $300 MILLION!

COLUMBIA, SC (August 11, 2017) – For the next two nights, Mega Millions® and Powerball® stand to make someone a millionaire 300 times over. Tonight’s Mega Millions® jackpot drawing is for $393 million. Tomorrow night’s Powerball® draw is for $356 million.

Up first, Mega Millions® draws tonight at 11.

Tickets are $1 and must be purchased by 10 p.m. South Carolina has yet to produce a Mega Millions® jackpot win. For that to happen, the winner must overcome odds of 1 in about 259 million and then choose between a cash option of $246 million or an annuity worth $393 million.

Saturday night its Powerball’s® turn.

For $2, players can try their luck at a $356 million Powerball® jackpot with a cash value of $224 million. Our state has sold seven Powerball® jackpot winning tickets. The odds of winning it all are still long at about 1 in 293 million. Tickets must be purchased by 9:59 p.m. on Saturday for the drawing at 10:59.

The Lottery urges responsible play and reminds players that it only takes one ticket to win. So, please, above all else play responsibly.
