8/29/2017 10:36:02 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (August 29, 2017) – A Spartanburg woman opened last Sunday’s paper to some good news.

“Woooooo!” she screamed.

The Powerball® numbers in the newspaper revealed her $200,000 lottery win.

Now she’s searching the classifieds.

“I want a car,” she said.

She played her numbers at Sam’s Corner, a popular spot for lottery play in Spartanburg. The lucky retailer is located on the Chesnee Hwy.

The odds of matching four white ball numbers and the red Powerball® number are 1 in 913,129. The odds of a 4X multiplier being selected are 1 in 14 when the jackpot is $150 million or more.

The winning numbers for the drawing on Saturday, August 19 were 17, 19, 39, 43, 68 and PB: 13.

For selling the claimed ticket, Sam’s Corner in Spartanburg received a commission of $2,000.
