Dillon Fisherman Catches a $200,000 Powerball® Win
8/30/2017 5:01:11 PM

COLUMBIA, SC (August 31, 2017) – A Dillon man got up to go fishing, but before heading out the door checked his Powerball® ticket.

He hooked himself a $200,000 prize.

“And I still went fishing,” he said.

Now he’s looking to reel in a new truck.

The odds of matching four white ball numbers and the red Powerball® number are 1 in 913,129. With a $1 purchase for PowerPlay®, his winnings quadrupled to $200,000 when a “4” was drawn. The odds of a 4X multiplier being selected are 1 in 14 when the jackpot is $150 million or more.

The winning numbers for the drawing on Saturday, August 19 were 17, 19, 39, 43, 68 and PB: 13.

For selling the claimed ticket, Ready Mart in Dillon received a commission of $2,000.
