COLUMBIA, SC (November 13, 2017) – A Manning couple has paid their last house payment.

A $250,000 lottery win is taking care of their mortgage.

“It was a shock,” said the winner’s wife when her husband came home with the winning ticket he purchased from the Stop & Save #2 on Broad St. in Sumter.

He bought two tickets at the store and both were winners. He scratched off a $20 win before taking home $250,000.

“I’m not telling the kids,” the wife told her husband.

Three top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $10 Red Riches game, at odds of 1 in 660,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Stop & Save #2 in Sumter received a commission of $2,500.
