COLUMBIA, SC (April 20, 2018) – Driving home a Spartanburg woman began to cry.

The tears started in the parking lot of the Sai Mart on E. Blackstock Rd., where she stopped after work to buy a lottery ticket. She says she never expected to win $125,000. Her tears didn’t stop until she got home to her husband with the winning ticket.

“I didn’t know how to feel,” she said describing the winning moment. “So I had a fit.”

She told lottery officials she wanted to take some time to “get herself together,” so she hid the ticket in a “good hiding place” and waiting nearly a week to cash in her prize.

She says she did a lot of thinking and has decided, “I’m taking my husband on a vacation,” she said.

She won the prize on a $125,000 Triple Play ticket she purchased at the Sai Mart on E. Blackstock Rd. in Spartanburg.

For selling the claimed ticket, Sai Mart received a commission of $1,250.

One top prize of $125,000 remains in the ($5) $125,000 Triple Play game, at odds of 1 in 600,000.
