11/2/2018 10:30:00 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (November 2, 2018) – A $125,000 lottery win has brought a Charleston mother and daughter even closer together.

The pair buys lottery tickets together on occasion, and it was on a trip to the Harborview Exxon on Harbor View Rd. in Charleston where their luck changed. Both of them “flipped out” says the mom when the daughter scratched off the $125,000 top prize win.

“We were jumping up and down,” said the daughter, who plans to help her mom and family with the prize money.

She gave her mother the winning Wild Numbers 20X ticket for safe keeping, and the next day they rode together to Columbia to cash in the winning ticket.

“We’ve celebrated a little bit already,” the pair laughed.

For selling the claimed ticket Harborview Exxon in Charleston received a commission of $1,250.

One top prize of $125,000 remains in the $5 Wild Numbers 20X game, at odds of 1 in 576,000.
