North Charleston Lottery Player Gets a $300,000 Christmas Surprise

Short Trip #20 located at 4498 Durant Ave in North Charleston sold the $300,000 winning ticket.

COLUMBIA, SC (December 11, 2018) A lottery player from North Charleston has 300,000 reasons to celebrate this holiday season after winning $300,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5.

Im going to help my family with this prize, the winner said.

The family is sure to be very thankful this year.

The numbers for the December 1, 2018 Palmetto Cash 5 Draw were: 12, 24, 25, 26, and 27. The Power Up multiplier was 3.

The winner matched all five Palmetto Cash 5 numbers winning $100,000 and powered up their ticket for an additional $1, which multiplied their prize to $300,000.

There were a total of 4,547 winning tickets sold for this drawing ranging in prizes of $1 to $300,000.

The odds of winning $300,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 1,606,214

For selling the claimed ticket, Short Trip #20 in North Charleston received a commission of $3,000.
