Mount Pleasant Resident Won a Sweet Treat for Valentine’s Day with the Help of a $200,000 Palmetto Cash 5 Prize

Northwoods Blvd. Express Inc. located at 2330 Ashley Phosphate Road in North Charleston sold the $200,000 winning ticket.

COLUMBIA, SC (February 14, 2019) – A Mount Pleasant resident received a better gift than a box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day after winning $200,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5.

“I’m going to plan a little bit of fun for the family,” the winner said.

The winner told lottery officials they plan to also payoff some bills.

The Mount Pleasant resident personally selected the numbers for his Palmetto Cash 5 ticket held on Friday, February 1, 2019, which matched all five numbers drawn (9 - 11 - 15 - 24 – 37).

The winner also Powered-Up to increase their prize with the 2X multiplier.

The odds of winning $200,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 1,003,884.

For selling the claimed ticket, Northwoods Blvd. Express Inc., in North Charleston received a commission of $2,000.
