How to Play Mega Millions®
Mega Millions® is a multi-state jackpot game. Drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. During the drawing, six numbers are drawn: five white ball numbers and the gold Megaball® number. Matching all six numbers wins the jackpot. There are eight other ways to match and win prizes up to $1 million. Each play costs $2. For an additional $1, players can purchase the Megaplier® option to multiply all non-jackpot winnings by the Megaplier® number (2, 3, 4, or 5) selected.
Mega Millions® Advance Play Ticket Purchase “Step-Down” Begins
The number of Mega Millions® advance plays you can purchase will be decreasing leading up to the April 5 launch of the new and improved Mega Millions® game. The stepdown will begin after the drawing on Tuesday, January 28. The number of advanced draws that are available for purchase will decrease by one each draw night until the game change occurs in April. Mega Millions® players will again be able to purchase 20 advanced draw tickets on Saturday, April 5.More information on the Mega Millions® game change is coming soon.
1 Pick your numbers
Select five different numbers from 1 to 70 in the left side play area and one “Megaball®” number from 1 to 25 in the right side play area of the play slip. Use one panel (PLAY A - PLAY E) for each desired play. Each play costs $2.
2 Quick Pick
If you prefer having any or all of your numbers selected at random by the terminal, mark the “QUICK PICK” box for each play. All plays and play options selected on the play slip will be valid for the specified draw only.
3 Megaplier®
Marking the “MEGAPLIER® OPTION” box adds $1 to each selected play and will increase your non-jackpot prize by 2, 3, 4, 5, or other promotional number. Promotional multiplier odds may vary.
4 Multi-draws
Play up to 20 consecutive draws by marking the appropriate box under “MULTI-DRAW OPTION.” Each consecutive draw will cost $2 or $3 per draw with the Megaplier® option. NOTE: Multi-draw selections will be consecutive from the draw date requested.
5 Sign the Back of the Ticket
Upon purchase, SIGN the ticket back and SECURE your ticket. Check your selections to make sure they are correct. Player is solely responsible for verifying all selections on the ticket. PRINTED MEGA MILLIONS® TICKETS CANNOT BE CANCELED.
DO NOT ERASE. If you make an error, mark the "VOID PLAY" box over the selected play. You must be 18 years of age to play.
