Fairway Fuel at 1290 Tom Hall St. in Fort Mill sold the $400,000 winning ticket.

COLUMBIA, SC (November 20, 2017) – A Fort Mill man wins $400,000 after playing the same combination of numbers since Palmetto Cash 5 began in January 2005.

The numbers include his sons’ birthdays. “I told my boys I won $400,000 and one already wants a dirt bike,” said the winner. “I didn’t even know I had won until I gave the clerk my ticket to scan. The terminal said I had to go to Columbia to claim my prize and I about had a heart attack. It still won’t be real to me until I see the money in my bank account.”

His Palmetto Cash 5 ticket matched all five numbers drawn on Tuesday, November 14, for a prize of $400,000. The ticket holder “Powered-Up” for an additional $1, to see the $100,000 top prize multiplied to $400,000.
