5/3/2017 2:47:39 PM

COLUMBIA, SC (May 3, 2017) – On his way to work, a Taylors man bought a lottery ticket and won $250,000.

Then he went to work.

“It was hard to get it off my mind,” he admitted.

By the time he got home from work, he’d planned out how to spend his quarter-of-a-million dollar prize.

“We’re buying a house,” he told lottery officials after cashing in his winning $250,000 Stacks scratch-off.

And his wife is in complete agreement.

She didn’t believe her husband when called that morning from the Lil Cricket #3815 on Augusta Rd. in Greenville to say they’d won the Lottery, it wasn’t until he snapchatted a photo of the ticket that she knew it was true.

“Seeing is believing,” she said.

Four top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $250,000 Stacks game, at odds of 1 in 660,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Lil Cricket #3815 in Greenville received a commission of $2,500.
