COLUMBIA, SC (March 1, 2013) – Less than five miles from where a Greer woman scratched a lottery ticket to win $1 million last week, another Greer woman has won $200,000.

The lucky spot this time was Larson’s on S. Buncombe Rd.

“Never in my life would I have seen this coming,” the winner said.

After talking it over with her husband the two decided not to tell anyone, not even their daughter, about the Black Onyx Riches ticket that will make the couple’s approaching wedding anniversary all the more special.

As of this release, two top prizes of $200,000 remain in the Black Onyx Riches game. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 428,571.43.

For selling the claimed ticket, Larson’s received a commission of $2,000.

Previously, a $1 million winning Money Money Millionaire instant ticket was sold in Greer by the Spinx Company #126 on Old Spartanburg Rd.

Since the start of the Lottery in 2002, more than one million college scholarships and grants have been awarded to South Carolina’s students. In all, more than $2.9 BILLION has been transferred to support educational programs in the Palmetto State.
