$20,000 Powerball® Ticket Sold in Union Set to Expire

COLUMBIA, SC (November 7, 2011) – $20,000 is waiting for a South Carolina Education Lottery player, but time is running out.

If you purchased a Powerball® ticket from Hot Spot #2012 at 4509 Jonesville-Lockhart Hwy. in Union this past May, you should check your tickets.

The ticket purchased for the May 14 drawing is worth $20,000 and must be claimed no later than Thursday, November 10. The ticket matched four white ball numbers and the red Powerball® number. The ticket holder purchased PowerPlay® to multiply the winnings by the PowerPlay® number drawn.

The winning ticket must be claimed by Thursday, November 10, 2011.

If the prize is not claimed, the $20,000 winnings will be deposited in the Education Lottery Account and will be appropriated to support educational programs in South Carolina.
