MEGAMATCH 6 JACKPOT EXCEEDS $1 MILLION!

COLUMBIA, SC (August 12, 2008) – The MegaMatch 6SM jackpot has grown to more than one million dollars for the second time since the six-number game launched February 4. The jackpot for tonight’s drawing is $1,023,045!
MegaMatch 6SM is a $5 ticket and features a rolling jackpot starting at $550,000. When the jackpot is not won, the prize increases by at least $25,000 for the next drawing.
Thousands of players have won prizes from $7 to the jackpot in the past 6 months. More than 394,000 winning tickets have been purchased by MegaMatch 6SM players with prizes totaling more than $7.5 million since the game began. The last time the MegaMatch 6SM jackpot was hit was on June 6. The $1,110,104 jackpot winning ticket was sold at Lil Store on South Cherokee Street in Blacksburg.
MegaMatch 6SM drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 6:59 and are televised live on SCEL’s draw partner stations around the Palmetto State.
