COLUMBIA, SC (March 19, 2021) – A Midlands woman drove home from the store with a surprise passenger, a $30,000 winning lottery ticket.
She bought the ticket for $2 at the Pantry Plus on Fairfield Rd. in Columbia and scratched it while sitting in her car in the store’s parking lot.
“I drove straight home after that,” the winner said.
She later rode with the Lucky Corners ticket to Columbia to collect her winnings. She told lottery officials she’ll keep on enjoying life and playing the Lottery.
Three top prizes of $30,000 remain in the $2 Lucky Corners instant ticket game at odds of 1 in 432,000.
Pantry Plus in Columbia received a commission of $300 for selling the claimed ticket.
