COLUMBIA, SC (October 31, 2016) – For seven years an Easley man played the same lottery numbers.

“They were meaningless,” he said when he handpicked them, but not anymore.

Tuesday morning he saw his lottery numbers flash across the television screen winning him $100,000.

His Palmetto Cash 5 ticket for the drawing on Monday, October 24 matched all five numbers drawn – 2, 7, 13, 17 and 30.

His attachment to those numbers hasn’t waned.

“I’ll never change those numbers,” he said when he collected his winnings.

The odds of winning $100,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 501,942.

For selling the claimed ticket, Dacusville Farmers Market Inc. in Easley received a commission of $1,000.
