COLUMBIA, SC (June 13, 2014) – An Orangeburg man started his day with a $100,000 lottery win.
On his way to work he bought the winning Hit $100,000 scratch-off for $5 at the E-Z Shop #22 on Columbia Rd. in St. Matthews.
Instead of taking off to collect the prize, he went on in to work with the winning ticket.
He didn’t tell his coworkers and claims the smile on his face didn’t give anything away.
“I’m always a happy person,” he said. “And I feel good.”
As of this release, two top prizes of $100,000 remain in the Hit $100,000 game. Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 480,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, E-Z Shop #22 in St. Matthews received a commission of $1,000.
