$200,000 Powerball® Ticket
Sold in Surfside Beach



WHO: Someone is holding a Powerball® ticket worth $200,000! Is it you? The ticket was sold at Market Express #365, 141 Coventry Road, Surfside Beach.

WHAT: The lucky ticket matched all five white ball numbers drawn in the Wednesday, April 29, 2009 drawing, but missed the red Powerball® number. The winning white ball numbers were 6, 19, 36, 50 and 59. The red Powerball® was 13 and the PowerPlay® multiplier selected was 5. The Powerball® jackpot for Wednesday night was $65 million.

The winning ticket can be claimed at a South Carolina Education Lottery Claims Center, located in Columbia, Greenville and Mt. Pleasant.

The next Powerball® drawing will be held Saturday night at 10:59. The estimated jackpot is $77 million.


Since the Lottery’s inception in 2002, the General Assembly has appropriated more than $2 billion for educational purposes through fiscal year 2009. In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, more than 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery was returned to the state in the form of contributions to education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
