COLUMBIA, SC (August 21, 2008) - The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) will close its Fort Mill Claims Center, located at 377 Rubin Center Drive, Suite 117, on Friday, September 12, 2008. The closing of this office will result in cost savings to SCEL with minimal impact to customers. No other changes are being made at SCEL's three additional claims centers in Greenville, Columbia and Charleston.

SCEL offers several convenient options to players wishing to claim prizes.

Prizes up to and including $500 may be redeemed at any lottery retailer. All prizes of $100,000 or less can be redeemed by mail or at one of the claims centers. Winnings more than $100,000 up to $1,000,000 must be claimed in person at one of SCEL's three claims centers. Winnings greater than $1,000,000 must be redeemed in person at the Columbia Claims Center only.
