COLUMBIA, SC (September 7, 2023) – With the change left over from buying a soda and a snack, a Midlands woman bought a lottery ticket and won $200,000

She picked out the winning ticket at the AMPM Food Mart #4 on Hard Scrabble Rd. in Columbia. She scratched it hours later at home. And when she won, the first thing she did was sign her name to back of the ticket.

“I know I won it,” the winner told South Carolina Education Lottery officials when they caught up with a couple of weeks after cashing in the ticket. “But it still feels like it isn’t real.”

Maybe the absence of a house payment will help with that.

There’s two more top prizes available in the Money Multiplier game. Odds of winning it are 1 in 750,000.

AMPM Food Mart #4 in Columbia received a commission of $2,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
