COLUMBIA, SC (July 25, 2018) – A Nichols man is going to relax after winning $275,000 playing the South Carolina Education Lottery.

He’s starting right away.

“I’m done cutting my own grass,” he said.

“I’m going to take longer vacations,” he added.

He told lottery officials he’s been on “Cloud 9” since scratching off the $275,000 win on a Royal Jewel Jackpot ticket he purchased at the Tiger Mart #5 on W. 3rd Ave. in Lake View.

“I’m going to enjoy life,” he said.

Two top prizes of $275,000 remain in the $10 Royal Jewel Jackpot game, at odds of 1 in 750,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Tiger Mart #5 in Lake View received a commission of $2,750.
