COLUMBIA, SC (September 25, 2015) – A Spartanburg man has won $250,000 playing the South Carolina Education Lottery.
“I have less worries now,” the winner, who did not wish to be identified, said.
He cashed in his winning Payout scratch-off ticket he bought from the 7-Eleven on E. Wade Hampton Blvd. in Greer this week.
“I’m only now starting to calm down,” he said.
That was the last top prize of $250,000 in the $10 Payout game, at odds of 1 in 696,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, 7-Eleven #36821 in Greer received a commission of $2,500.
