COLUMBIA, SC (June 25, 2014) – A Lexington lottery winner won enough to buy a new car and help his church this week.
His $100,000 win came on a Big Winning Numbers scratch-off from Mr. B’s II on Columbia Ave. in Leesville.
The big spender says he always buys $1 tickets, but had an extra five bucks and decided to mix things up and play a $5 ticket.
“It was a blessing,” the winner said.
As of this release, one top prize of $100,000 remains in the Big Winning Numbers game. Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 480,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, E-Z Shop #22 in St. Matthews received a commission of $1,000.
