COLUMBIA, SC (August 28, 2012) – After vacationing in Myrtle Beach, Eradio Marquez returned home to New York only to turn around and drive the 12 hours back to South Carolina.
For 720 miles he rode with his son and a South Carolina Education Lottery ticket valued at $100,000.
He won on a $5 Pure Gold scratch-off purchased from a Kangaroo Express on Hwy. 17 in North Myrtle Beach. He told lottery officials he’d like to visit South Carolina again next year.
