COLUMBIA, SC (September 23, 2010) – Downtown Newberry comes alive on Saturday, October 2, to celebrate its annual Oktoberfest and the South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) will be enjoying the German-inspired fun and festivities as well.
Visit the lottery tent to see the complete lineup of lottery games for sale including player favorites Powerball® and Mega Millions® and the new Millionaire Raffle. For every $10 in lottery tickets purchased, a player can spin the prize wheel for exciting promotional items. Tickets will be for sale on Saturday, October 2 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Approximately 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of contributions to education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
