COLUMBIA, SC (January 16, 2012) – Winning the Lottery has inspired a Lowcountry woman to write a bucket list.

$200,000 will afford her a few adventures.

“It’s all she’s talked about,” said her daughter, who sent her mom to Food Mart #1 in Charleston to fill up the car with gas.

While at the station, she noticed the “#1 Lottery Retailer in the State of South Carolina” signs and decided to go inside and try her luck with a Platinum Payout scratch-off.

“The signs are true,” declared the winner.

As of this release, three top prizes of $200,000 remain in the $10 Platinum Payout game.

The odds of winning $200,000 are 1 in 375,000.

Food Mart #1 in Charleston received a commission of $2,000 for selling the claimed ticket.

Since the start of the Lottery in 2002, more than one million college scholarships and grants have been awarded to South Carolina’s students. In all, more than $2.6 BILLION has been transferred to support educational programs in the Palmetto State.
