WHO: Kangaroo Express #3257, located at 2981 Whiskey Road in Aiken, and Parklane Amoco, at 7301 Parklane Road in Columbia, each sold a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket worth $300,000!

WHAT: The lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn in the Tuesday, July 7 drawing. The winning numbers were 16, 17, 20, 22 and 36. The Power-Up multiplier was 3.

Both ticket holders purchased the Power-Up multiplier option which increased their $100,000 prizes to $300,000 wins.

The winning tickets can be claimed at a South Carolina Education Lottery Claims Center, located in Columbia, Greenville and Mt. Pleasant.

Since the Lottery's inception in 2002, the General Assembly has appropriated more than $2 billion for educational purposes through fiscal year 2009. Approximately 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of contributions to education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
