SCEL's Second Big League Baseball Reveal Event to Be Held at Greenville Drive Game on Friday

Columbia, SC (July 8, 2009) – The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) is winding up to put a little sizzle in your summer Friday, July 10 at the Big League Baseball Second-Chance Summer Promotion. The grand prize reveal event takes place just before the first pitch at 7:05 p.m. when the Greenville Drive takes on the Rome Braves.

Come watch as three preselected finalists scratch oversized Big League Baseball tickets revealing exciting prizes. The contestants are Thomasine James, of Timmonsville; James Mullen, of Columbia; and Clarence Seigler, of Greenwood. One finalist will win a trip to the Major League Baseball® ballpark of their choice, and the two remaining finalists will receive $1,000 each! It's a win-win second-chance summer with SCEL!

SCEL will be in attendance with a full array of lottery tickets, including Big League Baseball and Harley-Davidson® instant games! Players and baseball fans will have the opportunity to stop by the SCEL tent and buy their favorite games. For every $10 purchase in lottery tickets, players may spin the prize wheel to win T-shirts, beach towels, koozies and much more!

Lottery players in attendance will also have a chance to enter second-chance drawings to win an iPod nano® or officially licensed Major League Baseball® prize packs containing Boston Red Sox® team merchandise. Prize Packs include a home jersey, windshirt, flag, baseball cap and two stadium seat cushions. Players must be present to win the second-chance audience prizes.

The Greenville Drive's Flour Field at the West End is located at 945 South Main Street in downtown Greenville. Gates open at 6 p.m.
