COLUMBIA, SC (April 9, 2008) – Patricia Johnson might be the name on her driver’s license, but she’s also known as “Lady Luck” along the Palmetto State’s coast. The Goose Creek resident recently won $200,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5!
“I’ve won quite a bit of money playing the Lottery’s different games,” Johnson said. “But this is the first time I’ve won a $200,000 prize! People want to hug me or touch me when they hear I won. I guess I am lucky,” she said.
Johnson admits she plays the Lottery almost every day, but she insists she plays responsibly. “This is my form of entertainment. I play the Lottery, and my husband fishes,” the lucky lady said.
Johnson quick picked her numbers for the Palmetto Cash 5 March 31 drawing. The winning numbers were 2, 6, 22, 27, and 38. The Power-Up multiplier was 2. Johnson doubled her $100,000 top prize by purchasing the Power-Up multiplier option.
Johnson bought her ticket at Sunoco Coop #2646 in Goose Creek. Odds of winning a top prize in Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 501,942.
