COLUMBIA, SC (September 21, 2023) – An Upstate man said he fell to his knees after winning $300,000 on a lottery ticket he scratched at a gas station on Woodruff Rd. in Greenville.
The winner was on his way home from work when he stopped by the Marathon station at 1814 Woodruff Rd. in Greenville. He scratched the ticket while putting gas in his car, and was shocked by his good luck.
“I’m still working,” he laughed.
As for his plans for the prizemoney, he wants to help his family and others.
Three top prizes of $300,000 remain in the Carolina Cash game at odds of 1 in 840,000.
Krisha Properties Inc. (Marathon station) in Greenville received a commission of $3,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
