COLUMBIA, SC (September 21, 2022) – South Carolina Mega Millions® players should check their tickets. With no winner in Tuesday night’s drawing, the jackpot for Friday has rolled to $301 million. But not before someone in Columbia and Bishopville came close to winning it all last night.

A ticket worth $50,000 was sold at the Shiv Food Mart #6 at 1609 N. Beltline Blvd. in Columbia, and another ticket worth $10,000 was purchased at the Lucknow Mini Mart at 3383 Lucknow Rd. in Bishopville.

The ticket holders matched four white ball numbers and the gold Megaball® number to win $10,000. The Columbia player purchased the Megaplier® option for an additional $1 to have their winnings multiplied to $50,000 when a “5” was drawn.
