COLUMBIA, SC (November 7, 2022) – With no winner on Saturday, Powerball® players have another chance at winning a world record jackpot. Powerball® draws for $1.9 BILLION tonight.
That’s $929 million in cash to whoever can stop this
jackpot run that began in early August. Monday’s drawing will be the 41st draw
in the run and ties the game record for the number of consecutive
drawings without a grand prize winner.
In Saturday’s drawing, over 187,000 prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000 were
won here in South Carolina. Three
players in our state came close, but fell one number short of winning it
all.
One of these players took home $150,000 on a ticket with PowerPlay®
sold at the Refuel at 4584 Hwy. 17
in Murrells Inlet. The other two won
$50,000 off tickets sold in Little River at the Food Lion #899 at 3379 Hwy. 9 E. and in
Charleston at the Circle K at 897 Folly Rd.
South Carolinians interested in buying a Powerball® ticket MUST purchase their ticket by 9:59 p.m. tonight for the drawing at 10:59. Tickets are $2 and available at most grocery stores and convenience stores in our state.
The Lottery is urging players to play smart, to play in moderation and to please, play responsibly.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 293 million. It only takes one ticket to win. And the odds are the same for every ticket.
Good luck, South Carolina!
