COLUMBIA, SC (March 24, 2021) – A Summerville man liked his lottery numbers so much that he played them twice and won a total of $200,000.
He bought two identical Palmetto Cash 5 tickets at the Beer and Tobacco Outlet on N. Main St. in Summerville for the March 17 drawing. His numbers 2, 4, 5, 6, 9 matched to win $100,000 on each of his two tickets.
“If I’m going to play it once, more is better,” he told South Carolina Lottery officials.
For selling both claimed tickets, Beer and Tobacco Outlet in Summerville received a commission of $2,000.
The odds of winning $100,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 501,942.
