COLUMBIA, SC (October 29, 2020) – A Johnston lottery winner summed up what it’s like to win the lottery in two words.

“Pretty good,” he said.

He told lottery officials he was sitting in his car when he scratched a ticket and won $125,000, and he described his plans for the winning in three words.

“Help the grandchildren,” he said.

The Johnston winner, who did not wish to be identified, claimed the last top prize of $125,000 in the ($5) $125,000 Cash Blast game at odds of 1 in 600,000.

Caper House #2 in Johnston received a commission of $1,250 for selling the claimed ticket.
