COLUMBIA, SC (July 21, 2020) – A Loris woman bought a lottery ticket and 48 hours later was $250,000 richer.
She says it took a while for the win to sink in, but it didn’t take her long to decide how to spend her winnings.
“A new home,” she said. “That’s what I want.”
That’s not all she wants.
“I want to win again too,” the winner told lottery officials.
The Loris winner overcame odds of 1 in 675,000 to win $250,000 in the ($10) The Color of Money game. Three top prizes remain in the game.
Finklea Grocery on Green Sea Rd. in Loris received a commission of $2,500 for selling the claimed ticket.
