COLUMBIA, SC (December 9, 2019) – A Lancaster man was happy at the prospect of winning $250, but he scratched his lottery ticket a little bit more to win a lot more.
When he was done he was staring at a $250,000 win.
“It’s my lucky day!” he told lottery officials when he cashed in the winning Bonus Bonanza ticket he purchased at the AM PM Gas & Grill on Lynwood Dr. in Lancaster.
The winner declined to release his name or share his plans for his prize money, but says he enjoys playing when he travels.
“I’ll win again,” he promised.
Six top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $10 Bonus Bonanza game, at odds of 1 in 675,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, AM PM Gas & Grill in Lancaster received a commission of $2,500.
