COLUMBIA, SC (August 28, 2020) – A Clinton lottery player filled up her car and wallet at the same time.
The winner, who did not wish to be identified, told South Carolina Education Lottery officials that she was pumping gas and scratching a $2 lottery ticket at the Piedmont Petro Corner Mart #49 on Highway 72 in Clinton. When she won $30,000 on the All Star Cash scratch-off, she did a double take and stopped putting gas in the car.
“I was elated,” the winner said.
Piedmont Petro Corner Mart #49 in Clinton received a commission of $300 for selling the claimed ticket.
Two top prizes of $30,000 remain in the ($2) All Star Cash game at odds of 1 in 384,000.
