Yesterday he cashed in a winning $10 ticket worth $250,000 that he purchased from the Sumter Stop on S. Guignard Dr.
“I almost didn’t buy it,” the winner admitted. “I walked out of the store and turned around and went back for it.”
The last minute decision to buy the $500 Frenzy scratch-off is allowing him to help his parents and start planning for the future. But first, he’s going to get a little shut eye.
“I’m going to the bank and then home to sleep,” the winner said.

As of this release, four top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $500 Frenzy game. The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 696,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, Sumter Stop in Sumter received a commission of $2,500.
