Lucky Weekend for Midlands Lottery Players, Wins Total $1.5 MILLION

COLUMBIA, SC (April 22, 2013) – Three Midlands retailers sold top prize winning lottery tickets over the weekend.

Lottery players in Cayce, Camden and Leesville will win big when prizes totaling $1.5 million are claimed.

A ticket worth $1 million was sold at The Pitt Stop #12 at 200 Knox Abbott Dr. in Cayce for Friday night’s Mega Millions® drawing. The lucky ticket holder matched all five white ball numbers drawn and spent the extra $1 for Megaplier® to win an automatic $1 million.

That same night, a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket sold at the Shiv Mart 5 at1915 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Camden is worth $300,000. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn. For an extra $1, the player “Powered-Up” to see the $100,000 prize multiplied to $300,000.

Last night’s Palmetto Cash 5 drawing saw a ticket purchased in Leesville, from the Family Mart on 2289 Pond Branch Road, win $200,000. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn with Power-Up and will win $200,000.
