COLUMBIA, SC (June 3, 2011) – A Conway woman can sleep now that she’s collected her $200,000 lottery prize.
The winner confessed she hasn’t gotten much rest since she scratched the Emerald Green 7’s ticket a week ago.
“Waiting for a day off has been nerve racking,” she shared.
She plans to invest the winnings.
As of this release, two top prizes of $200,000 remain in the $10 Emerald Green 7’s game. Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 497,142.86.
Shell Quick Mart in Georgetown received $2,000, a 1 percent retailer commission for selling the claimed ticket.
Approximately 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of funding for education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
