COLUMBIA, SC (February 4, 2022) – An Upstate man is waiting on his $600 lottery winnings to arrive in the mail. But before that he pocketed an even bigger prize of $30,000.
“People tell me I’m lucky,” he admitted to South Carolina Education Lottery officials, who caught up with him after dropping his $600 winning ticket in the mail.
He was a little surprised he won again so soon after cashing in a $30,000 top prize. He won the five-figure payday off a ticket he purchased at the Westside Quick Shop on 821 W. Parker Rd. in Greenville. He says both wins made his day.
“It felt good,” he said.
The Greenville player beat the 1 in 480,000 odds to win $30,000. The $2 Win It All game has ended with the last top prize claimed.
Westside Quick Shop in Greenville received a commission of $300 for selling the claimed ticket.
