Upwards of 8,700 Pick 3 players in South Carolina are celebrating triple 8’s.
Depending on the price paid for the ticket, these winners took home either $250 or $500 per play. The odds of winning are 1 in 1,000.
The Pick 3 prize payout eclipsed $2.1 million.
The triple number combination is hands down the Lottery’s most played sequence, with this drawing producing 16 times the number of winners compared to the previous day’s draw.
