COLUMBIA, SC (June 24, 2016) – A Santee woman says she’s not good at keeping secrets.

But she’s trying real hard not to let it slip that she won $250,000 on a lottery ticket.

“I keep telling myself to keep my mouth shut,” she said. “But I’m so happy.”

She’d love to tell the story of how she bought a Diamond Dollars ticket at the First Stop on Old #6 Hwy. in Vance and scratched off a quarter-of-a-million dollar win seated at her dining room table.

So far, the only person that knows is her daughter.

“And I’m not telling anyone,” the daughter said eyeing her mom.

As of this release, two top prizes of $250,000 remain in the Diamond Dollars game. The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, First Stop in Vance received a commission of $2,500.
