COLUMBIA, SC (July 31, 2015) – A Summerville lottery winner has spent his $200,000 prize.
“I paid off my house and gave the rest to charity,” the winner told lottery officials this week.
He cashed in the winning $10 Big Money scratch-off that he purchased from Sonnys Exxon #1 on Embassy Dr. in Summerville last Monday.
“The money’s gone,” he reminisced. “And I can’t wait to win again.”
One top prize of $200,000 remains in the $10 Big Money game, at odds of 1 in 600,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, Sonnys Exxon #1 in Summerville received a commission of $2,000.
