COLUMBIA, SC (March 30, 2023) – An Upstate woman got a nice surprise. When she went to cash in a $20 winning lottery ticket, she found out she actually won a $75,000 top prize.
“I never expected that,” she told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
And now that she’s won big, she’s not going to play the lottery anymore.
“I’m going on a vacation,” the lucky lady said.
The winning ticket was bought for $3 at the Xpress Mart #103 at 614 E. Main St. in Westminster. The store received a commission of $750 for selling it.
One top prize of $75,000 remains in the Bonus Match Bingo game at odds of 1 in 660,000.
