COLUMBIA, SC (May 24, 2023) – A Midlands woman beat the one in a million odds to win $300,000 on a South Carolina Education Lottery scratch-off.
And she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
“I had to put my glasses on,” she said.
She sat and starred at the blue ticket she brought home from the Palm Pantry #33 on Platt Springs Rd. in West Columbia and scratched while relaxing on her front porch.
“It was so exciting,” she said after cashing in the big win.
The winner is still deciding how to spend the windfall.
Four more top prizes of $300,000 remain in the 100X game.
Palm Pantry #33 in West Columbia received a commission of $3,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
